Buddy's Campsite is a private residential property in Downtown Sturgis, SD owned and operated by Daniel, Christinea, and dog "Buddy."
We live here full-time and to help offset our costs to making home improvements, we transform our backyard into a tent rental oasis during the motorcycle rally, and pre-rally dates.

Our Offering
For the 85th Sturgis Rally in 2025, we're excited to offer brand new luxury "glamping" tents for our guests that includes actual beds, as well as affordable tent spaces for those of you who want to pitch your own tent. We also offer the following:

Luxury “Glamping” Tents
We don't want you to dread about having to buy an over priced mediocre tent or dishing out boo-koo bucks on renting a home . That’s why we bring as much of home to you in our spacious lodge cabin tents. This includes your choice of King size beds or Twin XL beds, linens, mini fridge, microwave, air conditioner, and coffee maker.
Walking Distance to the Rally
Buddy's campsite is less than a 5 minute walk to Downtown Main St. where all the biker saloons, concerts, street vendors, and restaurants are located! No need to worry about taking DaBus, or missing your shuttle ride.
Showers and Restrooms
On-site showers and restrooms are available to you at no extra cost. We have 1 full bathroom available inside our home for your use to take a shower, as well as a porta potty outside. Bring your own towel or rent one from us. Hair blower is available at no charge.
Café and Snack Bar
For your convenience, our home kitchen will serve as a café and snack bar. Made to order breakfast or dinner that won't break the piggy bank.
Free Parking
Designated motorcycle parking will be available on the property (no cover). Street parking in front of our home and around our property is free and available for your larger vehicles or trailers (no permit required).
Guest Safety
The property is gated with a privacy fence and security cameras are installed to monitor your motorcycle and campsite 24/7 while you sleep, or on a ride. Lockers are available to store your belongings at no additional charge. We also have a 75lb Boxer named "Buddy" who patrols the campground with us regularly.

I was traveling alone, everyone was so friendly and it really made my trip to Sturgis hanging out with everyone. The location was perfect, close enough to walk to town, but far enough away to get some sleep.

The hosts, Daniel and Christinea, are two beautiful humans. They are kind, caring, and extremely hard working. I watched them meet, greet, setup, and settle-in several guests with the kind of care one would receive family. I genuinely felt that they wanted me at their Sturgis retreat, and I am thankful to have met them. I can't wait to see them again for Sturgis 2024!

Daniel and Christina were the most gracious and caring people I have ever met. Everything they did was incredible and yet they asked if they could do more. Daniel & Christinea are amazing. From when I left Miami, until I rode into sturgis on my motorcycle. They would send me messages while I was on the road checking up on me. When I arrive at the house freezing. Daniel offered me a cold beer, lol. They are very welcoming and friendly. Daniel led me and other guests to Mount Rushmore on a great ride. Their tent set up was awesome. The house is a 4 minute walk to Main Street. You can drink well and walk back home. The fire pit was the cherry on top of the cool nights. Overall, it was a great experience, and I met other good guests. Thank you, Daniel and Christinea, for my first great sturgis.

Daniel and his wife were awesome hosts. Very accommodating even with air mattresses and offerings of bedding if we needed them. They provided breakfast and snacks and use of their home while we camped during Sturgis. Would stay here again for the rally!

To say this was a great place to stay…would be an understatement. It was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. Daniel and Christinea are so kind and friendly. They took care of us when we were soaking wet and had been driving on a motorcycle for 16 hours. They took us in and put our clothes in the dryer and really took amazing care of us. I would 1000% recommend this place to anyone and everyone when coming through sturgis! They are great hosts and really care about their guests! You definitely need to stay here if you are looking in this area!
